wants to make sure that people living with HIV understand the programs
that exist which can help them get access to costly medications and
benefits to sustain the best quality of life.
The following Web sites offer clear descriptions of federal drug
assistance programs, disability benefits, and other government programs.
Also provided below are suggestions on how to advocate for these benefits
and who to contact. The AIDS Treatment Data Network's Access Project is
the first place every should look to understand the programs available and
who is eligible.
AIDS and the Law Returning to work? Thinking about changing jobs? Confused about confidentiality issues or partner notification laws? This website provides information to help you understand the legal and policy issues posed by the AIDS pandemic. Provides up-to-date, accurate, and authoritative information regarding HIV law and policy. Provides information about current issues in HIV law dealing with: employment, criminal prosecutions of people with HIV, and immigration law. Also contains full-text versions of PA laws enacted in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic along with recommended HIV law and policy resources.
