Pflag-talkers have established an online-helpline for response to private messages that come in through the website.

Straight Spouse SupportWebsite: http://www.ssnetwk.org. Associated with PFLAG and the Family Pride Coalition's Straight Spouse Network (SSN). Support and understanding to individuals and couples coping with a spouse who is gay, lesbian, bisexual, or considering the possibility of a bisexual relationship. The SSN coordinates numerous mailings lists:

tgs-pflag@critpath.org. Unmoderated; Owner: Raquel Rice; listserver: listproc@Youth-Guard.org; website: http://www.critpath.org/pflag-talk/. While most subscribers are transgendered people or spouses, the number of parents is growing. The value of tgs-pflag in developing the Transgender Family Support Special Outreach Network (SON) provides a model for other PFLAG SONs.Volume: 10-20 messages a day. Tgs-pflaggers have established an online-helpline for response to private messages that come in through the website.

schools@youth-guard.org. Unmoderated; Owner: Jason Hungerford, who is 21 and a pflag-talker; listserver, listproc@youth-guard.org; website: http://www.youth-guard.org. The schools list is a spinoff of pflag-talk. The informational posts from GLSEN and the P.E.R.S.O.N. Project are posted to the schools list. This list is recommended as a tool for building PFLAG's Youth SON. Volume: 5-10 messages a day.

Unmoderated; Owner: Chris Purdom (Chris and Barbara Purdom coordinate the Interfaith Working Group-IWG); Listserver: listproc@critpath.org; Website: http://www.libertynet.org/~iwg/.While its purpose is demonstrating religious support of equal justice for GLBT people, the religion list is also an excellent all-purpose advocacy list.Subscribers receive relevant messages from Channel Q which identify opportunities to write letters to editors, nationwide. Subscribers receive relevant posts from the ACLU, The Interfaith Alliance, and the Reverend Mel White. The IWG provides a constant flow of model letters. This list should be used as tool not only for PFLAG's Interfaith SON but also by the Advocacy SON. Volume 10-20 messages a day.
