If you are using webmail and find that everytime you view the list of email messages in your inbox, it takes a long time (like more than 10 seconds), you might try one of these options:
- Ensure you are not running filters everytime your inbox is displayed. If you have configured your account to filter spam, ensure that you do not have a checkbox next to “Apply filter rules whenever Inbox is displayed?” in your Options -> Filters setting.
- Keep your inbox to under 1000 messages. You can store as many messages as you need, but please keep the inbox to a reasonable number to speed things up.
